Tagged: backing tracks; jam tracks
Hi players,
I’ve just found an unbelievable way to get 6 hours of blues backing track in any style and key (anyway, you can switch the key in no time simply using Audacity… So it’s impossibile you can’t get any backing track you’ll ever need).
The amazing thing is that it’s creative commons material that you can legally use and download (read article):
https://www.guitarvibe.com/2010/10/lawrence-fritts-backing-tracks.html
The author’s website unfortunately no longer exists. No problem: if you’re able to use Qbit Torrent or something like that, just type “Lawrence Fritts backing tracks”, then the game is made!
Anyway, here is the link to the backing tracks on Youtube (but they’re not separated from each other 🙁 ):
6 HOURS, FOLKS… CRAZY!
The tracks are also in HIGH QUALITY: A couple of seconds ago I’ve realized that even Griff Hamlin (another guru of the Blues Lessons and courses) uses it in one of his courses. This is to say how those tracks are useful and good.
So guys, if anybody needs those tracks and don’t understand how to get them feel free to contact me and I’d really glad to help you.
Hope you enjoy,
Luca
Great find and post..thanks man.

Good find. It’s unusual to find a 6 hr audio file on Youtube. But easy to download using Mozilla Firefox with the Flash Video Downloader add-on. Then you can easily split the tracks up using Audacity. But now days, if I’m not using one of Brian’s backing tracks, I prefer to just make my own. That way I have total control over the overall sound.
