I discovered an old Video of a little Slide. Unfortunately it is in some poor image and tone quality.Dieter

Hi Dieter,
what a nice Slide-Guitar you have there! Is it a National? Looking forward to see more of your slides. Thanks for posting.

Hello,
thank you for the friendly interest. It`s not a National, but a cheap Model (Harley Benton about 600€) with some modifications. It got a new high class Resonator insert and a not adjustable pickup inside the body. At the moment it is not often in use, so you can hear some strings clanging.
Slide playing needs much feeling and for that I m too less practising at the moment, but I will try to improve.
Mostly I play slide with open tunings. With normal tuning it doesn t work. Therefor I have already prepared my self-made E-Guitar with extra high Strings.
Also here my greatest problem is the lack of time (as a retired Guy !!!???)Dieter

That’s very cool Dieter. I love slide guitar and your’s look awesome. Personally I prefer use a lapsteel or a Dobro for sliding I think it is a bit easier, matter of taste a guess..
Anyway. Cool post!Rock on'

Oh my god, is there something you can not do?
I thought of “Slide” years ago but never tried it. Still, I find it incredibly cool. I think about playing both; I mean in one track. You’re making me nervous. More than cool Dieter.Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
