Nice tone, excitement bouncing off the fretboard. Got the earphones on for this one.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Wow! Sensational, Sunburst!! I think you’re actually improving over what you were a year ago, if that could be possible.

Larrythanks Larry, I didn’t like this much after watching it,, I was hestitating and wasn’t sure where to go with the progression,, this is an example of playing blindly lol.. I will put something together eventually, I’m beginning to get more ideas though with each lesson.. been practicing on another site too, has soundslice too and lesson categories from easy to difficult skill level,, I’m finding fast tempos to be challenging but the scales are pretty much basic blues rock pentatonic shapes like here. the key is focusing on timing ! If I need to go half the speed so be it if that is what is needed to keep timing correct and playing the right scale licks smoothly with the rhythm chord progression.. not easy but at least I hear what to focus more on instead of missing the tempo.. In this other site , some of the difficult solo lessons I been trying will takes months of practice but I actually enjoy trying,, i take breaks, and some I put aside for another day.. Larry , I wasn’t sure if you entered January challenge,, also hope you are practicing too!

Keep it up. Whatever you are doing seems to be working. Yeah, I keep practicing constantly. Lately, I’ve just been focusing on select old lessons I’ve already learned just trying to improve on rhythm, mechanics, and timing.
