Willie Headen’s 1960 album, Blame It On The Blues, was put together from singles going back to April 1954, “I Love You Bobby Sox” on the A side and “Stop Drinking” on the B. I have a feeling this blend of R&B, doo-wop, rock ‘n’ roll and blues might find some fans here (Headen is pronounced hay-den).
