I bought a capo. It sat in a drawer for ever. I know how it changes the key but I didn’t realize how it could make certain chord progressions so much easier. After watching a lesson on Made of Stone by the Stone Roses, and the instructor had a capo on the 2nd fret, I became intrigued and watched a couple videos on the use of the capo. Once again, an aha moment. I really should play around with chord progressions using a capo in different positions. When did you start using a capo? Were you resistant to it? I know I was. I just thought it raised the key and made everything higher, maybe for the lead singer. There’s more to it than that.
