What order to do the triad lessons in?

After a month, I’ve got EP574 down (Play like a PRO with these 3 Triad positions) and now I’m hooked on triads. Can anyone recommend an order to follow for Brian’s triad lessons, to progress from easy to hard? Thanks!

Hi Reg, if you do a search on Triads you will get over 26 entries, but the easiest would be Ep093 and Ep199. The following lessons include PDF resources on triads; Ep362, Ep356 (which is fav here), Ep485 and Ep486 for Minor and Major Triads. Then Ep399, Ep316 and Ep346 for their compositions. There are others but these are the ones that rely more heavily on the use of triads within them. Hope that helps in your choices.

If triads were only on the top 3 strings, I’d be in fine shape. The problem is, those other 3 pesky strings are also on my guitar. What about triads on the 3 lowest strings? Only interesting to bass players? And triads on the middle 4 strings? Oh no, I have yet more to learn….

The magic of AM is there is no set order. But for some, this is jarring when we typically see lesson material arranged in a set order…

I say search for “triad” lessons, and start with the ones that catch your ear, and inspire you.

Personally I got a lot out of EP356. I also had some lightbulbs by simply getting out some fretboard paper and mapping out triads on there.
