I’m not much of a theory guy , it frightens me . I am however slowly learning some things thanks to activemelody. Just started to learn “lovely Lisa” today. And Brian brought up the point of playing a lead in A over the F chord. Its funny because I just listened to an Ed King interview where he talks about playing his lead in Sweet home Alabama in G, and the song is in D. Al Cooper didn’t like it and wanted it changed. But Ed and the band kept it because it came to him in a dream . If it sounds good who cares. If someone starts to explain this to me ill just start going crosseyed lol.
