Hi all
Always loved this song, so downloaded backing track, and added acoustic guitar and vocals cover.
Take care all

Awesome Bernard! Great classic America tune. You’ve got this! Get it to where the guitar part is “in your sleep” so you can focus on the vocals. You have a great voice! The right balance of “manly and tender” – like the King! Great job. Keep working on it and resubmit in a while. Bob

Nice going Bernard! Always like the band America. They remind me of CSN & Young. Three American kids of soldiers in London right out of high school with great harmony and lyrics. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent arrangement, playing and vocals! Personally, I like the 3rd version best. You did a great job on recording and mixing the whole project.

That was really well done, Bernard! You have a really good voice, and all instrumentation sounded great. Loved the keys that come in towards the end, around 3 minutes. Cool stuff!

Hi all
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve never really done anything like this before, i.e. lay down guitar and vocals.
Always been very fond of America and their beautiful acoustic arrangements and vocals. Phil – All the chords are played on bottom 3 strings. Intro is C/D, Tab 3/5/5/0/x/x then going to a D7, Tab 5/3/5/0/x/x Verse is Gmaj7 Tab 2/3/4/x/x going to Cmaj7 Tab 3/5/4/x/x/x The pre-chorus uses a Amaj9 Tab 7/5/5/x/x/x going to a Bmin7 Tab 2/3/4/x/x/x
Really cool voicings. Note, the Gmaj7 should really also see your pinkie finger on the 4 string 5th fret, but isn’t necessary. All strumming should target bottom 3 strings.
Bruce – I downloaded the backing track from https://www.karaoke-version.com/guitar-backing-track/america/tin-man.html for $1.99
Thanks
