I’ve read through the interesting thread started by Geoff on Classical Guitar and why we should all play that style etc.
When I started to play guitar as a young teenager I was inspired by the music and particularly guitarists I heard at the time, and of course these were mainly from the Rock or Blues genre. From the outset I toyed with the idea of playing classical guitar because I knew it would be a good and thorough grounding but learning to play guitar is a slow and determined process and you have to ‘love’ the music you’re trying to play. That love wasn’t there …… so here I am today.
There are two artists I currently follow, which are not playing classical styles but they are both from a classical background and are as close to the style as I can get:-
Marco Cirrillo: This is just one of many,
Guitar Logic: A beautiful style,
Richard
