For all those that love the music of Peter Green or are wondering who he is, here’s a link to a full length documentary on the man himself. Enjoy

Thanks Mike for this great link to The Man of The World, Peter Green video. Because I’ve read so much about his mental state, I oftern wondered what happened to him and I’m glad to see he seems to have recovered and is doing fine.
I was very moved by him singing a song at the begining of the clip (2:40) I think it’s titled “Need Your Love Tonight” that I searched for it and found a CD titled “Fleetwood Mac Original Album Classics” with 36 songs from when Peter was in the band. I’ll be getting this for sure. I love that kind of blues expression. You can almost feel his pain as he’s singing.
Keep up all your posting. Very interesting. Also liked the link to Buddy Knox. Never heard of him before. I’ll be looking for some his stuff too.

Thanks Tom,
Yes he’s still with us & continues to play which is fantastic. He may never be the Peter Green of old, but that’s okay. I feel he gave us a gift of his music many years ago & for that, we should be grateful. No other blues guitarist moves me so much as him. It was nice to see in the film Peter just fishing & taking things easy. I’ve worked in psychiatric care & dealt with people with schizophrenia & it’s a terrible & dibilitating illness. I’ve witnessed ECT & people who have had it & it seems to have the effect of turning off certain areas of the brain that cause the agitation. It also seems to turn off other areas as well & the person almost seems to be sedated.
When so many others have passed on, it’s great that Peter is still with us & he seems to be a genuinly lovely bloke with a wry sense of humour. Had to laugh when he said that Albatross was one of Eric Clapton’s LOL
