There’s a mix of rock, blues-rock, R&B and blues at the Beat Club’s YouTube page.

If you want to hear an underrated group that were around from 1965 to 1971, breaking up not too much after they cut their debut album (below), check out Gass (the short Wikipedia article is worth looking at). I found out about them following Bobby Tench (a very under-appreciated musician who I found out about when he was with the Jeff Beck Group). Skip to “Black Velvet” and “House for Sale” (I think they’re the best songs, followed by “Cold Light of Day” and “Cool Me Down,” followed both in their actual order and in how much I like them). Peter Green guested on this album, right around the time he was leaving Fleetwood Mac and recording End of the Game (it’s way different from Fleetwood Mac, more of a jam record). The first song, “Kulu Se Mama,” shares a title with a John Coltrane song and album.

Here’s another mess of that kind of stuff in a playlist.
