This post is intended to honor Terry L. (@luch_handt). He was an Active Melody member, friend, and fellow guitar player. You will be missed!
Please post your stories and music you made together here. We will share it with his wife.

Did Terry post a song called Active Melody Blues quite some time ago? I may be wrong but it made me chuckle at the time.Sorry to hear he has passed on.

Terry emailed me this song to me that he recorded when he was feeling a little better after some previous treatment. Godspeed Terry. You will be missed!

Wow Bryce thanks for sharing this and it’s a really poignant and powerful song; I wasn’t prepared for the vocal and man it makes you sit back and get life into context.
I take a lot of strength and inspiration from hearing this and hope his spirit flies freely wherever it is the next adventure takes us.
Terry must have been an accomplished musician, but I don’t recognise the name and it would be nice to share any of his old posts to enjoy his musical legacy.

Thanks for that, Bryce. Like Bri says, that was a really powerful recording, especially knowing the circumstances. I hear a Pink Floyd influence here and elsewhere in Terry’s music, even a hint of British accent. Did Terry have roots in England?
Lately we’ve all seen what a powerful medium music is for expressing emotion. I’m really proud of being part of this community.
Also best wishes to our other colleagues who are fighting battles. This song really makes you step back and appreciate the moments we have. -

Dark Side was without a doubt my best album, and Terry did a hell of a job on Breathe!! His voice reminds me of Niel Young a little bit! He will be sadly missed on this site, and to the world at large…………..Sal

WOW! One of my all time favorite Pink Floyd songs! Terry did it justice. Love his voice. RIP Terry. Very sad to lose one of our own.

I met Terry on this forum. Im not sure how old the site was at the time, I know that ive known Terry for at least 3 years. We would talk back and forth on the forum, and we both tried to do a good job welcoming new members and making them feel like home here, and get their questions answered.
We started emailing each other,Terry was the one who got me started recording myself playing. He helped me figure out the set up of recording.Once I was up and running we would send recordings back ans forth, either to a backing track from the internet, or one of use would send a rhythm and send it saying put some lead to this.
I started in building cigar box guitars and sent one to Terry, matter of fact it was the 2nd i built, he loved it.He ended up starting to build some too.We decided to mod our les pauls at the same time, mine was an epiphone and his was a Agile. We sent pictures and questions on the mods as we did them,we both put Gibson 57 and 57 plus pickups in them. This is the guitar his wife blessed me with at his funeral.I had planned on going to jam with Terry last year, before I went was when he was diagnosed with cancer. I did still go but we put it off until a non chemo week. We did have a blast, his wife mentioned that was the most active he had been in a while. The sad part is we didnt do any pictures.Terry and I talked every day through facebook messages, email or on the phone, even if it was just a good morning. I miss him a lot already. His wife Connie is a doll, a real go getter, she never stops moving. My heart and prayers go out to her in hopes she finds the strenght and comfort to get through this.
Butch….
I did find about 28 songs Terry did on his soundcloud account his name is fender fullerton ca. -
