Here is my interpretation of A LOOK AT LITTLE SISTER style arrangement. (Disclaimer-I in no way attempt to sound or play like SRV. I quit doing that a long time ago). Played on my 1992 American Standard Strat and Vox AC10. I dialed in a bit of OD. For the entire arrangement the pickup selector is in the neck position. Just a hint of reverb as well. I throw in a nifty turn around for fun!

This is excellent, John. SRV is smiling down on you, amigo. Great tone and technique, as always. That’s one gorgeous Strat.

That sounds and looks like fun to play, at least I enjoyed watching you play that, John! Love the shuffle, you did it justice 🙂

Love the SRV Texas Blues theme you are on! Great playing and the tone is perfect with the new Vox. You are getting me fired up to dust off some licks.

Awesome job John! Quite the toe tapper. Great guitar and tone. Your were really locked in with the Texas Shuffle (SRV) groove and that turnaround is a cool new take that I might try to copy too!

I thought Stevie Ray was in the house. Nice job.

Sounds fantastic, John. Great authentic tone out of your guitar and amp with just a little gain and reverb. Played superbly!!

I was just listening to The Telephone Song while working out. Stevie Ray Vaughn is one of my favorites. Thanks for the sweet listen!

You said you stopped trying to sound like him, yet you sounded pretty damn close to me.

Excellent playing and feel for this one.

      Loved it.
