I don’t play my National very often but Brian wanted some old blues so here is a little Bucka White and Robert Johnson mixed in. That’s about as old as it gets, ha ha.
Guitar is a National “Hawaiian” resophonic. -

That was a beautiful Blues John. I could listen to this for hours.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Wow I can feel those boll weevils in the air and a glass of moonshine and a plug of chewing tobacco. Real nice period piece. Loved it.

I’m impressed John, that was great slide played with enough rough edges to capture the authentic side to that style of blues. A great post.

… another sleepy dusty Delta day … sittin’ on the porch … definitely takes us back to the roots of it all.
Really well played, great tone, John, you make it look easy -

That was great JB! If the video was black and white and the audio had some scratchy sound it would be hard to tell the difference to the old blues pioneer records.

That was first class blues, John. You should break out that National more often. People would pay money to watch you play that.

Hi John.
This month I’ve choose a slide one also, and I’ve been impressed by your one. Really.
I’ve found very difficult to do not be repetitive with slide licks, but it seems that has not been a problem for you.
this is a really good example on slide delta blues.congrats for this one.

Wow John… Holy cow did I love that! Is this in standard tuning? I have always wanted to learn how to play this slide blues, but just never got around to it and the different tunings scare me away a bit.
This was fantastic John. Thanks for sharing!
