Learn to play blues guitar.
Home › Forums › Guitar Techniques and General Discussions › Some here may enjoy this picking lesson I enjoyed like to share!
This didn’t get any response John, but I watched it and I did learn a little more about economy of movement in my picking hand. Thanks for posting.
Pick speed is something that as yet I have not thought about, there is so much of the guitar journey for me that as yet has only scratched the surface, interesting video which i am sure I will have to watch and learn from.. good find John..
..Billy..
I did watch this with some interest. Even though I don’t have much of an interest in playing really fast, there are times when having good pick control and fast picking will be necessary. One of the tunes that I would like to learn is “Misirlou” by Dick Dale. Many of the older surf tunes use “tremolo” picking which is lightly different but I do think the skills are transferable. (Youtube really is a time portal!!)
Thanks John!
HAH, That is what they considered farout !! video HILLARIOUS.. I been practicing a bit of speed picking/shredding ..it’s good to have a little of that where it can be used. glad you enjoyed!
