    I do.
    Enjoy.

when you sing from the heart, it requires only a guitar. M. Shihab Uddin

Playing music on the guitar is like sculpturing your soul with musical notes. 🙂 6 stringerPete

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 Pete

Like ’em? I love ’em, and I have a few more for you, in no particular order (click through to playlist). It was the absence of “Juke” that made me think of this list (Earl Hooker’s 1969 band shown in image, drums of Robert St. Julien, but Little Walter’s “Juke” is the first song).

And there are more for those who listen to the first 5,000 and still want more (Louis Myers [guitar] and Fred Below [drums] of The Aces pictured).

“Juke” wasn’t blocked when I posted it, but it is now! Replacing it post-haste!

Yes, that are the roots – unreachable, authentic.

Thanks for the fascinating Blues posting Pete, watching a live recording of Skip James towards the end of the video reminded me that I’d learnt his iconic ‘Hard Time Killing Floor Blues’ some years ago in open Em tuning. It’s a haunting acoustic blues melody, I’ll have to dust it down and try and record it here.
