Hello,
I tried finger picking this one.
It’s straight into my ’68 Custom Princeton reverb with the speaker switched to Weber 10f150t (very ‘Fendery’ tone, but can be very loud/gigable). Guitar pickups are ’69 Fender Custom Shop.
I love late 60s!
Thank you for listening.

Sounded great Hide, well played. I did that one with a pick but I like your fingerstyle version…

Oh, what a try. That was great and you should play fingerstyle opener. The sound is known to come from the fingers. You played the individual notes perfectly; not too hard and not too soft. Greetings from Schwentinental 10 km south of Kiel in northern Germany.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

That was good Hide! A nice feel for the piece and great sound from your Strat. But you only get half a credit for this. You only played on three strings! 😀

Nicely played, Hide. I also would have used fingerpicking on that one. And I caught some great examples of rhythm fills going on, even though I haven’t played that lesson.

Smooth as silk,Hide. Impressive adaptation to finger style approach. Professional sounding all the way. Would have liked it a bit longer.
Consider that a good criticism.Bravo.

Well that’s great to see yet another side to your playing Hide. It couldn’t have been played any better than that. Yeah, late sixties were astonishing in so many ways. Wish I had a time machine.

Beautifully played Hide. I felt transported back to some Smokey club somewhere in 60s America. Loved everything about it except the length, should have been longer! 😊

Dang, Hide… You are a pro man. I agree with sunburst John. You sound like you could be doing some studio recording for the Beatles here!

Nailed it, Hide. Not my favorite lesson, but watching you play and listening along, impossible not to enjoy and want to learn. You have myriad guitar skills, for sure!

Very well played but I wonder why Brian chose this tempo. At 1.25 times the speed I think it really comes to life. What do you reckon?
