Roadtesting my new Alvarez Parlour – MPA70

I ordered a one off, left handed, Alvarez parlour guitar ……and he she is. On the day of arrival I laid the guitar on the floor to take a picture and dropped my iPhone right on the soundboard, taking a thumbnail size chunk out of it….and i’m not joking – my eyes teared up. So it’s spent the last 5 weeks at a luthier and had had an almost invisible repair.

I also had the SYS Blend system installed with integrated tuner.

It’s quite the most wonderful guitar I’ve ever owed. I’m glad I sold my Martin to pay for it!

  Nice playing! I have been thinking of buying the MPA66 (the mahogany version of the one you are playing.) Have you tried that one? If so what are your thoughts?
