Amazing – future is knocking on the door. But most important will remain the player.

I like Swiss chocolate.
I like the guitar too.
I want one with Lace Sensor gold pickups. The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

interesting, but very pricey: $4 – 6,000
there’s a new guitar store opening here in London and I’ll go try it out. -

I don’t relish the appearance. I must be getting old there’s something about the traditional strat, tele, Les Paul and 335 shapes that resonate with me. This certainly addresses the “one gun” approach and much easier to hide swappable pick ups from the Mrs than a new guitar! (not to mention all those cases).

I’m in the same frame of mind as John here, I find the classic shapes of electric guitars a big part of the appeal, I do like the idea of being able to interchange pickups quickly and simply though so maybe if both are married together but then that leaves the price stumbling block, I’ve had divorces that cost less than 6 grand…

Sounds like you got wiped out before the divorce, Billy. I was going to trip the Report Abuse link on your post.

Gotta admit, this guitar is interesting. 4 different models vary from $3,800-$6,000 and the unpriced Platinum series. 9 available sets of pick ups, priced $450-$550/set (largely Seymour Duncan or Bare Knuckle) or why not get the complete set for $4,600 with a nice pick up case? Doesn’t seem to be any single coil options, I would have thought you could develop a P90 set. All the guitars have the same neck, 10″ radius, modern C, 1 piece bolt-on with a bamboo fretboard and medium jumbo frets, scale length 25.6″. I was surprised there wasn’t more selection in neck shape and fret wire.
