Well i just enjoyed a fantastic session with my guitar, not because i advanced any on what i was practicing but because i tried a new style of playing, i was messing around with solo’s from pink floyd and because i have A.D.D my concentration is such that i have difficulty remembering what i just did, so i was having to do it really slow and stopping after each piece to be reminded of what comes next and it was really frustrating co’s i couldn’t get any continuity, i had trouble putting the bits together to form a complete solo, so anyways i just tried some black sabbath material using power chords, not only does it seem easier, it also sounds better when i run it through my fender fuse software fuzz, sounds fantastic and i am really enjoying it, i think maybe this is the route for me to follow for now as it is enabling me to be more aggresive physically with the guitar and will i am sure give me confidence to handle the beast for solo’s down the road, i think up to now i have been too timid and frightened of making mistakes…..any thoughts anyone?
Neil.
