That’s the way to play the blues, Roger! You’re becoming quite a blues player, and I love to see your acoustic guitar collection. You’re so lucky you can just put them outside like that and play all Summer long.

Thankyou JoLa
I wish I could all summer long in the evenings. But it gets too hot. I do practice outside every morning but I only take one guitar out because there is no place to protect the guitars I am not using from direct sunlight in the mornings. In a few weeks I will have nice weather in the afternoon/evening for a while. I get my best practices when I am outside. I don’t get near as much inspiration being cooped up inside the house.

Blues on the patio with some authentic tones with the slide ,the second one had a seasick Steve vibe going on with that groove and a guitar to match .nice work .

Thankyou. CBG guitars are both fun to build and fun to noodle on

Great groove Roger, add a thumping stomp box to that and you’ll ‘lift off’

Well played, Roger. The second one reminds me of Allman Bros “Pony Boy Carry Me Home”.

Really enjoyed it Roger. Loved the sound, look and your playing especially on the second video. You’ve probably answered this 100 times on the forum but did you build the 3 Stringer or buy it? All the best!

Hi Gary. Thankyou.
Yes I built it from scratch. I special oredered the box with a photo I took off of my front deck. I found the decal on the fingerboard online. I put it there before I cut the fret slots. The volume and tone knobs are beer caps I bought for when I bottle my home brew. It has a miniature single coil pickup instead of a piezo like what come in the kits or most of the CBGs you buy online. I think the singlecoil sounds better than a piezo. -

Thankyou. I don’t know where the tune came from I was just making it up as I went along.
Great sounds.
