Hi Active Melody Community!
Thanks to all who participated in the March challenge! I am really seeing some improvement in our playing. Keep up the good work!
If you have yet to participate in a challenge yet, this next one is for you.
April’s Challenge will be lesson EP142. There are three levels of difficulty in this lesson. You can do any of them. Do your best to play along with the jam track as it will improve your sense of rhythm and timing the more you practice with it.

GOALS FOR April 2016 MEMBER CHALLENGE:
1. All Playing Levels: Be able to play with the jam track in time.
2. Beginners: Play the level 1 or 2 portion of this lesson
3. Intermediate: Play the level 1, 2, or 3 portion of this lesson
4. Participation Goal: 15 Active Melody Member Participant Videos/MP3 posted.

GROUND RULES FOR PARTICIPATION:
1. Post your Youtube, Vimeo, or Soundcloud links of you playing EP142 with the backing track anytime between Friday, April 29th to Sunday, May 1st. (i.e. The last weekend of April.) Please do not submit earlier. I think it is fun to see everyone’s posts at once.
2. Submit individually in the “Showcase Your Playing” forum. Title your posts “EP142 Challenge Response – [Your AM Screen Name]”
3. Play the lesson in time with the jam track.
4. Have fun and don’t be intimidated by these challenges!!! Use these challenges to help you set goals and complete them by a deadline. You can also use this as an opportunity to chat with your fellow Active Melody members and share tips or tricks on this challenge that you think are useful.
