        EP105 backing

Two chords. Csus4 and F. One position. Took Brian’s lead and shoe-horned it into one position which was a good exercise, then some improv.
Nice uplifting jam as it’s glorious spring weather here in paradise. Enjoy.

Be kind to yourself (especially when you're trying to play this instrument!)

Hi Cloughie, what a good exercise to “compress” Brian’s solo. That will teach you a lot about a given position on the fretboard. Very uplifting track and energetic playing. Good stuff!

            Very well played.
I did this one a long time ago.
You are in David Gilmour’s territory here.

This was really good Brian and very Gilmour-ish. Playing in 1 position really is helping me learn it well.

Yep I can hear the gilmour sound , clever use of that one position, the restraint has brought out the creativity, nice vibrato as well .

Nicely done, Cloughie. Like Brian says, you can make a lot of music in that one part of the fretboard.

Oh that was nice, Brian! It never occurred to me that I could “transpose” a solo into one position only. Duh, all the notes are there and it does sound like a good exercise for the brain. You have a nice technique and it’s great to watch, I liked it!

Really engaging lead. Love the bends, and getting a David Gilmour vibe on this one

Yes, Cloughie, we can do a lot in this one position, if we manage to limit ourselves in this way. And you demonstrate it wonderfully here. A truly beautiful-sounding “exercise”!

Great idea, lovely backing track. I appreciate you ‘condensed’ so much in such a short place yet created a beautifully melodic solo. Really well done.

Nice one Brian! I’ve enjoyed both the melodic ideas and the way you’ve played them!

Great vibrato and great bends. I really the melodic lines you’ve created here. Amazing how just two chords can be so uplifting.
