OK, I want to buy something, but what…
guitar center has a coupon for $150 off everything but…
I tried to post the link, but it is blacklisted on this forum. Let me see if I can copy and paste.
Guitar Center is having an “Easter Savings Event” offering up to $150 off purchases of $750 or more. Which might sound like a good deal to anyone looking to buy a new instrument or some gear, except for the fact that the deal excludes just about everything in the store.
Consumerist reader John is in the market for a new bass, so when he initially heard about the offer in a Guitar Center mailing, it seemed like a good opportunity. But then he saw that, in addition to the usual exceptions — no clearance or already-discounted items; no used or vintage stuff; no price-matches; nothing from the scratch and dent bin; does not count toward gift cards or “musician services — the fine print says that “Some manufacturers have chosen not to participate in this promotion,” with a link to a page on guitar center site detailing those few holdouts. And by “few,” we mean “just about every brand we could think of.”
We lost count somewhere in the low 200s, but we estimate that there are at least 300 separate brands listed on that page. If someone wants to count, here you go [UPDATE — it appears to be 319 brand names, but feel free to work it out on your own if you want]:
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete
