Hi AMers,
November 2020.
Really nice backing track. The chord-progression reminds me of Clapton’s “When your down and out” and of Peter Green’s “Need your love so bad” at times. Hope you like my version!Eric

Can you see you’ve played before! No pick either. Liked the choked sound around 0:57 to 1:00. Beautiful bending throughout. Excellent. Guitar looks and sounds good too.

Wow, Eric, I was thinking of exactly these two songs, when I heard the backing track, from which I took some inspirations. Yours seem to have more original melody lines, which is nice and creative. Great tone from you expensive looking guitar, too!

This is the closest thing to singing I’ve heard in all these pieces. Really sweet. The little bit of echo didn’t hurt, either.

You found a good groove here. 2nd chorus nicely separated.
Sounds good , like the ending.Bruce
Just focus on the notes you DID get right . . . Frank Vignola

Great, Thank you!
Btw – I also played my submission with a PRS; mine is an older SE.
Which Amp do you use?acoustic /electric guitar player from Berlin.

Thanks, Detlef! I don’t use an amp on this one. Straight into the interface and into the DAW. Sounds and effects are from Logic Pro X.

Eric, this is professional playing, my friend. A listening pleasure; every second. Very well done.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Eric that was, for me, the best that I have heard from you. Superb tone and faultlessly played. If you like Pater Greene’s version of Need Your Love So Bad try looking up a track that he did with his band called The Splinter Group from the album Destiny Road. The track is called ‘You’ll Be Sorry’. It’s in the key of G.

Eric, that was really impressive on many levels. Your fingerstyle technique is unique…seems like you use you finger to pluck from the side of the string… maybe even a bit under. Cheers on a superb job! Pap

Eric,
I loved how you attacked the song right from the beginning. And I enjoyed the full chords and wiggle-bar action at the end. That was a nice touch.

Hi Eric C,
I enjoyed your submission, played it well and fluently and it had a great sound and recording. Personally, I prefer a little less reverb. But that’s a matter of taste.
Thank you for sharing your submission
Enjoy your day

Whoa, that was good, Eric! Love the expressive fingerpicking and how you managed the melody with just a few notes for the most part, and of course, the spectacular ending 🙂

Another excellent submission, as usual. The attack and tone you obtain from playing with your fingers is wonderful. Always a joy to listen to your playing.

My friend what a sexy opening array of notes… and I have to say 0:36-42 just killed me. The tone, note selection and bends were superb. You must hear those melodic notes in your mind before you plan. Nicely done.
