I’m having computer trouble posting for November’s Challenge so this is a late effort. Couldn’t get my video to upload from Garage Band so just put the audio on Soundcloud. It was played on a Taylor acoustic, unplugged. Lots of clams on the recording but I was working on the challenging timing on this lesson.
Brian, like many, I loved this lesson. I spent most of my practice time working on that tricky timng.
PS I didn’t have time to comment on a lot of this months submissions but listened to many of them. Great job everyone.

Nicely played, Gene. Good to have you back. Did you finally re-retire?

Welcome back! I enjoyed that very much. Hope that you get back to posting on a regular basis.

Hey Gene, that sounded great! It’s good to have you back on the Forum!
I’m going to add your video and John’s to the consolidated posts tomorrow. Hereafter I think I’ll drag my heels a little, put them up on the Tuesday following the close.

Good one, Scattercreek. Bummer about your computer problems, but at least you have a computer. One of my old surfer buddies hasn’t bought one yet, because he’s not sure they’re going to catch on. He was burned once before when he bought an 8-track tape player and they soon became obsolete, so you can understand why he would be cautious.

I loved the anecdote about your old surfer buddy. I laughed until there were tears in my eyes. When I was getting frustrated with problems getting my video uploaded I was just about ready to join him and dispose of my computer.
Also your monthly challenge was one of many I really enjoyed. I always look forward to your creative and musically sound submissions.

Sounded great Gene. I know you played this on a Taylor but I liked the Godin in the SoundCloud pic. Is that a 5th avenue?

Yes, the Soundslice pic is a Godin 5th Avenue in a Champagne Burst finish.
Yes I finally did retire again (like Michael Jordan).
