Brian might consider giving us old faithful subs the option to either flag comments or put on ignore subliminal comments ..no biggie here as I always can and will deal with the obvious, i can take and give as I read them too. Also, decided to remove all friends on my list as I know it is really useless ,, i post and comment anyway..all my friends I respond accordingly to responses/jests etc.. but I wish to block anything like today’s “hung l” never seen that freak here on AM BOARDS lol WTF IS THAT BS Brian?? okay,, just so you know where I am and how I will stand ground here!

Hey sunburst,
I have also received the message you are talking about and the funny thing is that it appears to be coming from YOU, LOL! (see attached photo). Now, I never thought it was actually you. It appears that we have been hacked again, don’t understand why would someone bother, but anyway…

This is not a place for rude comments. I’ve been playing guitar for 50 years, and would never say anything negative about anyone giving it their best. If this becomes a thing, I’m sure Brian will get on it. Ignore rude comments. Focus on the the positive ones.

That’s something I was unaware of. Not sure if I can locate the guy , but I’ll see what I can do.
I did find this:
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I’m not seeing any of these. But I know from personal experience as I’m sure everyone else does too, it happens everywhere…not just AM. Like John says…sometimes you just gotta let it go. Focus on all the good stuff. Like November Challenge…gotta go…

This the most diverse forum I have ever been a part of. There are people from all over the world speaking english as a second or even third language. Words have different meanings in different cultures. Not everyone speaks perfect english like we do here in the US you know.
What comes across sometimes as a perceived slight may be nothing more than someone trying to communicate the best they can. One thing is taken the wrong way, someone hits them back and human nature kicks in and they respond and it snowballs from there. You know how it goes.
What would “the Dude” do. Well, he would abide.

that is true Jackleg, always considered that in part of a participant’s comment,,okay , I’m aware the fact we both didn’t mean both responses the way they came across so it does work out in the end seemed to turn out for the better as interpreted . Hung might not have meant as derogate i but the comment was sharp and direct, a question “” followed by his own answer “” , it simply came across as rude comment not ever seeing the screen name Hung L,,seemed as what could be considered as a rude post and so I got his answer not just leaving it dangling as it were or could have been. that’s all no big deal.no hard feelings hope he didn’t get too upset..thought we could close the case

All forums, all forums…are small kingdoms ruled by an all powerful tyrant. Some benevolent, others mean. Their proclamations, nailed to the walls of the public square, are enforced by hulking axe wielding executioners, moderators. They have their reasons for doing what they do.
Best to avert your eyes when confronted and apologize, as there are always hungry baskets waiting and a thirsty axe to feed. The squabbles of peasants are a distraction to them and they care not except for public order.
I try not to anger them.
