A great sound and nicely played. At times I heard a little Hendrix influence mixed up with a ‘people get on board’ type of gospel vibe.

Strat sounds fantastic Dan, love the clean look of white with maple, that was grown up blues, I hope you’ll play some more soon.

Beautifully played, Dan. I’m scratching my head over how you got that full sound on your bridge pick up. How did you get your tone?

Dan… WOW man. That guitar sounds so rich but has all of the quack and pop of a strat. Also, what you are playing here is absolutely beautiful. Is this just you messing around? If so, if Brian ever needed another person to help write lessons, I nominate you. I am with Charjo, how did you get such a full tone like that from the bridge pickup? I cant even get my squire strat to sound that full on the neck. Loved listening to every second of that. You are a great player and you have yourself a wonderful sounding instrument there.

Thanks for the comments, not sure how to discribe the tone. The guitar is on the bridge and middle pickups and the treble on the amp is set very low. I have a fender hot rod deluxe valve amp and to be honest, I haven’t worked out how to use it yet. I bought it just before signing up to Active Melody but I’m usually rushed for time so I just plug in and play. Dave K, I am just messing around here trying to use what I’ve learnt so far from Brian’s lessons. I like making up my own parts but I still need to do a lot not work on learning the pentatonic major and minor scales. Thanks for watching

Hi Dan,
I think the Strat was built especially for you or you were meant to be for this particular Strat.
Wonderful playing and the sound you got out of this guitar was amazing!Regards,

Congrats on your new Stratocaster, Dan. Ist looks beautiful and sounds great, too. I like to add different guitars to my portfolio, but a Stratocaster is the only one I would buy again. Mine is my go to guitar and there is none I like better. So good luck to you, I am sure you will have a lot of great moments with yours.

Thank you, the comments are so kind, this is one of the main reasons I signed up to Active Melody.
I literally can’t put this guitar down but I have along way to go in terms of learning.
I know basic pentatonic scales but I want to know alot more
If anyone has and advice or tips please send them this way.Cheers
Dan
