Ok. I get you are frustrated. What are you going to do about it?
What “sucks”about it? How can you make it better? What do you need assistance with? Let us know and maybe we can help.
Being frustrated when learning to play the guitar is normal. How you deal with the frustration is what is going to get you to be a better player. Channel it. Figure where you need to improve on your vibrato and woodshed it until you are happy with it. And if all else fails take a break for a couple days and then get back at it.
One other thing to keep in mind. We are our own worse critic. So cut yourself some slack.
Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Thanks Bryce for the words of encouragement. Just trying to get that right sound. My #1 fan (my wife) says, Wow, that sounds awesome but I don’t hear awesome, I only hear the mistakes. I guess I need to be a little easier on myself and maybe go buy a new pedal. That always makes me feel better, ha ha. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Other than the pep talks, which are great, it’s hard to help you if all you can say is that it sucks. If you could formulate what about it you don’t like, then you would be more than halfway towards making it sound better. Here are some possibilities:
The pitch wavers. (This is tremolo and not vibrato. Lots of guitar players don’t understand the difference.)
It is inconsistent in speed.
It is inconsistent between fingers.
Or from one string to the next.
It’s not the right speed.

You mean the slide part Bryce? Yeah, that resonated with me too!
(Yeah, just cuttin’ up again)Something that I’ve found that I don’t quite understand, was something that G&L guy (back when he was a just a wee Blueshawk) told me. “…sometimes you just need to walk away from something for a while and then come back to it…”
I can get to a point working on a lesson where it just flat gets worse every time I play it. When this happens now, I just move on to something else and get back to the 1st one in a week or two. And strangely, when I come back to it, it’ll often be the best I’ve ever played it.If you get too frustrated Rocker, you might try that approach. (Has anyone else noticed this?)

My problem guys is that in order to get the vibrato sound I’m looking for pretty much requires for me to use at least two fingers but I am not a very fast player and the two finger approach is slowing me down because I’m used to attacking the sound with only one finger, BUT, like I said earlier, one finger is not creating the cool bluesy vibrato sound I want. I just need to practice more guys and slowly build up to my goals. I was just venting a little bit on here but with a little patience and practice I’m sure I’ll get it. Thanks for all your feedback. I do appreciate all the tips.
