I hope this link works this time.
It’s always just an absolute pleasure to hear your son play the guitar!
But who in the family is “cooler” you or him? 🙂
Thanks for sharing.

Nice playing and interesting points Aaron very helpful .. so much tone/feel is in the fingers of the player you make the point nicely thanks for the demo. John Strat
Just letting yourself loose and letting the fingers float over the strings takes a bit of “wtf” and just give it a try. When someone starts with this attitude only success will follow. Your playing is the outcome of this. What really may give the smoothness in this type of playing is that one must overcome the thought that he/she has to look at the fretboard while playing. The sooner the player quits looking at the fretboard the easier it is to let them musical thoughts (expressions) dance on the fretboard. Nice video Aaron.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

that’s was perfect the fingers makes it sound so peaceful yet the pick makes it come alive .thanks for sharing and don’t stop entertaining . Love it.
Nicely done Aaron it is amazing how different it sounds with your fingers even if you hit the wrong strings sometimes it still sounds cool, well played, thanks for sharing.
He’s great! Thanks for posting this!

Great lesson, Aaron, very well-explained and visualized with the video. I really liked the tips on finger picking along with use of the regular pick. Gives me something to at least shoot for. This video along with your previous on EP152 reinforces to me (for the millionth time) that rhythm and timing are everything, no matter how fast you can play. If you don’t have rhythm and timing, forget it.
To me Brian is a master of rhythm and timing. His lessons have helped me tremendously in that regard. (I know that’s hard to believe, but you should have seen me before I started ActiveMelody.)
Keep up the videos. This one was very instructive and your playing is fantastic!

Simply Awesome Aaron! It never ceases to amaze me how players with your talent have the ability to make the same notes/licks/phrases sound so creamy and different by your tactile methods and skills with the strings, thanks for sharing! Phil
Thanks Aaron for sharing your thoughts on style and technique with us. Great stuff!

Very nicely done. Great Tips. I love the Improvisation. Here, I have something for EP155 incident. I’m still not so good. But I would like to be better. Maybe you like my Version.
Thanks.

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
