Hi everyone. I like very much these kind of lessons, where you can learn both the rhythm and the solo parts. And I find the Micro Lessons in general very useful: I can concentrate more on the playing quality.
Here’s my rendition. In the background the gulf of Portorose/Portorož in Slovenia, where I’ve been for a short vacation in springtime (April/May).

Bravo my friend 🙌🙌. Your playing of this was wonderful.
One thing that always impresses me is the amount of attention you put to your videos. It really looks like you are physically at the spot where you are playing and i have never understood how that is done. You are using Da Vinci Resolve – right?
Anyway, great playing great video Guido 😄

Thanks Geoff. I’ve been using Pinnacle Studio (payed version) since several years, but I’m considering to try the Da Vinci free version.
The background removal is something that I learned to do very recently and I’ve to use different tools. I bought a green sheet, but it’s not enough for the chroma key effect, because it must be perfectly ironed and smooth (in fact I realized that you need a regular green solid screen). But it’s enough to create a background that I can remove an substitute with white color with Adobe Express (not free, I’m using a trial period, not sure I’ll renew).
Then I can use the Luma Key effect in Pinnacle… It’s very complicated 😅 but if you spend some money and buy a real green screen background it’s everything much simpler, like a breeze!Guido

Phew Guido! It all sounds very complicated and I guess that is the reason I do not do videos like this.
Listening to this again as I write. This is not only enjoyable to listen to but your recording skills in this are excellent – this sounds really good even on my crappy computer speaker. Do you use panning with two guitar renditions like this ?
I love to use panning with two guitars because it is great to hear that with headphones on.

Yes, I panned the guitars left and right, accordingly to the video (not an hard panning, 34%). Thanks again.

Guido, I really like how you put that video together putting both of your selves (chuckle) in it. Very nice playing, and great changes that you laid down. Brian gives us so much blues to pick from, and this was a great selection on your part.

Yeah, great choice of lesson Guido. There’s some gems in those Micro Lessons for sure. I’m sure you enjoyed putting this one together, but luckily you had your brother’s help 😉😉😉. Well played, nice blend of the rhythm and lead. All the best! 😎🎸😎

I agree with you about the Micro lessons. They’re easy and fast to learn and you can flavour them with your own ideas.
Very well and smoothly played. I like, that you also added the rhythm.
Your videos are always nice to watch with these backgrounds.

Very well played Guido, with a nice relaxed feel to both parts. Your Gibson Dove always sounds great. (I’ve always wanted a Dove.)

What a great video, Guido!
Love the marina backdrop and the relaxing blues music on two acoustic guitars — so well played! The attention to details and expression is so important and worth diving into! There are so many lesson to choose from but you have just inspired me to look into this one. The rhythm part itself is worth the price of admission, thanks for sharing!

Sounds great, Guido. Sitting on the dock of a bay. Picking a pretty tune.

This is a real joy to listen to and watch Guido!!!!Your technique on the acoustic is masterful and the timing which is of the essence here,is flawless!I wonder why I don’t remember this lesson and if it actually has 2 guitars or if you came up with the rhythm! You have definitely inspired me to check it out!As for your background,it’s marvelous ❣️❤️❣️💖

Thanks Helen! In the lesson Brian teaches both parts and you’ll find tabs and slow walkthrough for them, and in fact learning to keep the tempo in the rhythm part, without a metronome, is perhaps the most difficult part, and also a very useful exercise.
