*Which minor scale would you say is most often used? Natural minor, Harmonic minor or Melodic minor.
*And can you harmonize a minor scale? If so, what is the chord interval for minor scales?
*Does it suffice to take the Harmonized Major scale in C and start at the Relative minor or 6th degree (A) of that scale and continue through that harmonization to the half diminished, resulting in the minor Harmonization of C.*How can you tell if a song is in a minor key?
a Major harmonization in C (to me) is C Maj, D minor, E minor, F Major, G 7th, A minor and B half diminished (B minor 7th flat 5)
Ok, now this is (almost) everything that has totally confused me for the last 20 years about minor scales.
