Gosh well done, not like you were starting at the easy end and working up
This is a really tricky lesson for a number of reasons, your timing is pretty decent and where you loose it slightly your straight back on cue.
This is the kind of lesson that you can revisit and build on, top stuff

Enjoyed your playing, tone, PRS shirt, and SG guitar! Pretty dang good on a tough song. Congrats on your second post, no fear when the red recording light is on.

Michele, Boy that sounds like a complicated song to master, but you did a very good job. Sounds pretty good. BTW, when you do the bending, some people (like myself who wants to imitate ‘classic’ rock players like Eric Clapton or Jimmi Hendrix) like to grab the whole next and ‘twist’ your whole hand as if you are opening a jar lid. You get more control and power that way. Other teachers not to do that, but many do! Just an idea you may or may not want to try! Thank you for posting. Please post more.

Michele,
Well played with great effort. Keep an eye on holding the notes for their full duration to bring out the melody. Easier said than done, of course. Look forward to your future posts.
Cheers,

I agree with posts above. Seems like an intimidating lesson. Nicely done. 👍

You do not play a simple lesson that involves many hidden tasks. Anyway, it’s a very good start and the lesson deserves to keep working. Stay tuned. Well done!
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Well played Michele, I admire your bravery, most of us would have picked something easier but you took on a tricky lesson for your second challenge. I enjoyed the melody and your phrasing and I’ll look forward to some more from you.

Great job on this Michele – I had forgotten about that Santana inspired lesson and was glad to see someone play it. Great tone as well.

Very well done, Michele. As far as timing and fast complex licks, that’s one of the most difficult lessons. Respect to you for choosing it. I heard you lose the timing in a few places, but you reconnected very quickly, and that’s the sign of a good guitarist: To be able to correct any mistakes on the fly.

Well done Michele, that’s a difficult one to start with (Brian, how could you forget – this is a masterpiece ).
Right now I am wearing the same T shirt, only green 🙂
Looking forward to your next one.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and helpful tips! This lesson was so hard I almost gave up several times. Actually I did give up when the lesson first came out, but when this open Challenge came up, I decided to go back an learn the entire song.
I am very impressed with all of you! So much talent. I gotta step up my game. LOL!

Good thing you didn’t give up. You had some really nice phrasing, played in excellent time, and with energy. Really good job on a daunting lesson.

Wow, Michele, you took a bite at one of the most difficult lessons on the site! I would love to be able to play that but won’t dare trying just yet. And look at you, you’re definitely on your way to master it! Yeah, don’t ever give up, you’ll be surprised by the results.
