Hello, Very strange times indeed. Hope everyone is feeling healed from playing and sharing music at Active Melody!
Brian titles this EP179, Mixolydian Mode – Learn To Play an Easy Jazz Blues Lead. I’ve created my own track with a looper, and added Robben Fordish rhythm toward the end.
Thank you for listening.

Hey Hide, really loved that. Very jazzy and some great licks. This is another one of Brian’s lessons that I have not seen nor heard before so thank you for bringing it to my notice. That Epiphone 339 looks and sounds so nice and you appear to be quite comfortable with it. Great job.

Hey Hide, that was great looping and even a better solo on top. I actually just got a looper myself so this was an inspiration. Nicely played!

Oh yes, very strange times that we have not all experienced. Stay healthy buddy. You created a nice track. Your lead part did everything really well and missed a full track. Good production and well played.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Great performance and kudos for using the looper to do the rhythm track as well. I’ve done that lesson myself so I know it’s not as easy as you make it sound. Also like the spanky tone you have going there as well. – Bret

Very creative laying down your own rhythm. The jazzy blues sounded great and so did your rhythm embellishment at the end.

I got a looper (Ditto X2) a couple of years ago and had a blast with it. I haven’t used it much lately, might need to try it out again. Nice playing and I enjoyed your challenge contribution. Mighty fine!

Great delivery and enjoyable performance as expected. That guitar has an impressive look, what model Epiphone would that be?

Perfect, Hide! This was fantastic. Like a professional guitar guy in his spare time showing how you lay down tracks for a hip song. Love how you react when you hit that perfect note, like a pro golfer when he hits the ball flush and then just sort of shrugs.

Great job Hide, I love this simplicity, a loop, a pure sound, at the output of the amp, and superb improvisations with scales that you make me want to discover. One question, what is the reference of the small microphones in front of the amp?

I missed this first out but glad I caught up. Hide, that was a superb lesson and improv. I always run a risk with the looper but you hit it right on the button. Beautiful lead runs to complement the whole thing …thanks.
