Ok, here my second showcase. There are already excellent performances of this lesson by oher members.
I had been studying this lesson for almost 1 month, practicing may be hundreds of times and eventually I’ve decided to record and submit it even if my rendition it’s still full of mistakes, because evidently this is my level now and I want to move on for focus on other lessons. May be in a few months, after practicing other lessons, I’ll pick up again this one and be able to play much better. It’s like a starting point.
I recorded the rhythm part 1 month ago with a Zoom handy recorder, wheras I recorded yesterday the lead part with my brand-new condenser mic Rode NT1-A. I think microphone is the better way to record acoustic guitar, better than through PU (wich would be much simpler).
I connected the Rode to the XLR connector (dedicated usually to voice) of my Voicelive 3x device (it’s a device dedicated to live performances, but can be used also for practicing and as audio interface).
The VoiceLive 3x has a loop function, where you can also import tracks. I imported the previously recorded rhythm part and overdubbed it with lead . Then I played the resulting loop (complete track) and recorded it connecting VoiceLive with usb to PC (in this case using the VoicLive as audio interface) with Audacity. Finally edited multi camera video and syincing with audio with Pinnacle Studio.
Well, the process I used is a bit complicated and may be a bit a mess, but I’m trying to do my best with the devices that I own.Guido
