, Hi , Im new to this site , i think the lessons are awesome . I recently saw some of the Ken Burns Country Documentary , I Loved the part were Johnny Cash gave his daughter a list of songs she should know. I heard one of them might be Kitty Wells “It Wasnt God Who Made Honky Tonk Angel” so i looked it up on utube . I thought she was really smooth how she plays here chords , all in the 4th and 6th frets . It seems like the different style of Chord Choices Brian shows , which im trying to get a grip on . I know Bar Chords , but not partial ones like Id like to , and what she seems to be doing . I cant hear her to well with the guy in background as main guitar , he has a capo on his guitar . She seem to be making do without one . I was wondering if anyone could explain a little about her style of chord playing , or point me toward a lesson number that might help . Thanks John .
