Hi everybody.
Ok, just to put a face to the name.
Got into a little discussion with 6stringer about gig clips etc, and he suggested that I put something up so here are a few I thought might be ok :-))))))))))))))))))))))).
Only taken on a small vidcam so sound etc isn’t so great but hey, you folk know how it goes :-)))))))).As for me, well I’m the idiot out front in the white shirt screaming at everybody, and with the amount of kids I’ve got, well, it kinda comes as second nature lol.
You’ll probably notice in the clips the same lead guitarist, Pete, in the different bands. Great mate of mine and we just kinda tended to hang and put outfits together over the last 17 years however the mood took us really.
Nothing much changed other than getting older and a whole lot greyer lol.Anyway first clip is from the first band I was in with him, The Not Very Dangerous Blues Band, back when every Blues band had a dangerous or moody name. As for us, well, we just weren’t very dangerous lol.
The bands first gig in 1998.
The Prince of Orange pub in Greenwich, London[strong]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rmp_4on79_U[/strong]
After that folded, Pete and I decided we’d have a go at a Free/Bad Co tribute band, around 2000, so this was The Morning After, and anybody familiar with the London circuit will recognise The Royal Standard pub in Walthamstow, a great venue to play, but now sadly gone and very sorely missed, like so many live gig venues over here now in the UK :-((((((

After this folded I took a break and joined a more middle of the road outfit for 5 years, but, thankfully, the Blues came a calling so joined up with Pete again and we formed Some Kinda Voodoo, and these are a couple of clips from a few years ago.
Lol, the muso nightmare. An hour before we were due to go on, our drummer rang urgently, a home emergency, and couldn’t make it. Pete knew a dep drummer who showed up just as we were about to do a 15 minute soundcheck, which explains the frantic hand signals to the drummer during the gig, and much sweating on the night lol.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhBnPYWvAAs%5Bstrong%5D%5B/strong%5D

As always, hope everyone is ok and playing good music and loadsa Blues :-)))))))))))))))))))))Boz
