To sunjamr, I have an electric guitar – an old pink paisley Fender Telecaster that my dad gave me.
I never played it as I felt I had no reason to. The strings are very close to the frets (guess that’s called string “action”). I have been “chording” for most of the playing I’ve done, and figured an electric guitar didn’t “fit” for me. Now, that I have looked at it, I see that the G string is not wound, which I didn’t know about until this forum (info that came back to me). I’m going to use this guitar for awhile to see how I feel about playing a melody with lots of bends – EP349. So, I won’t invest in an new guitar – right now – anyway. Thanks.
