Matt,
Your light bulb moment is a light bulb moment for me. What a great way to move the chords up and down the neck in a musical and melodic way. Great idea. Thanks for sharing. -

To move up the chords was a revelation to me, too as well as the nice hammer ons.
You are a good rhythm player.

Well explained and demonstrated Matt. Definitely great to get our heads around movable chords, the whole CAGED idea and knowing where the scales are around each triad, diad or chord. Enjoyed your composition. All the best!

Well explained Matt. Same here I am now focusing to engrain all different movable chord shapes that are not the “classic” E and A into my playing. Next step for me is also to learn those scales around each shape, as you mentioned. Great playing in your demonstration too! Thanks

Nice submission with a good explanation. Well done.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Yes Matt you nailed it. Those were huge lightbulbs for me as well and your explanation shows you’ve got a solid understanding of them.

Matt, that‘s great stuff and very well explained in the short time. I will look again and try it out. Thanks for that!

Nice submission Matt. It was eye-opening for me too when I realized I didn’t need to play the full barre chords all the time. Happy pickin’!

Nice rhythm playing, and explanation of those chord voicings in different positions, like the subtle G to C move ,the small embellishments say a lot . Thanks for sharing.

Matt – awesome!! You applied the Universal 2 + 3 rule to chords! It works for chords and single note solos! Nicely done my friend! Bob

Hi Matt:
You shared some really good and powerful lightbulb insights! You also shared a great vision for how to use them to create interesting music from relatively simple chords. Very cool.
Cheers, Tom

What an awesome demonstration, Matt! You grabbed those chords in all positions so fast, I had to rewatch and pay more attention. A great exercise right there for me, C-F-G in all positions without the 6th string. It’s usually hard for me to recognize those chords quickly from watching someone play – so thanks for this great exercise and a lightbulb moment for me! 🙂
