Has a new monthly challenge been posted or did I miss it? Or, maybe I am just impatient. Thanks in advance.

Haha, John, I guess I’m not the only one who is looking forward to the next project, this anticipation is testing my patience, too 🙂
I’m sure Brian will post it soon, maybe today. It will be under Active Melody Announcements.🎸JoLa

Ha ha… thanks JoLa…. just chompin’ at the bit. My New Year’s resolution is to move away from minor pentatonic blues based material and explore other genres… R&B, country, jam band, swing… not to mention acoustic material. Thanks for the update. Happy New Year!

Once after our former moderator Bryce resigned, no one picked a monthly challenge, so we members just decided on our own to hold an open challenge, where you could play whatever you wanted to. That was also a fun exercise.

Sounds great. Yeah, I have about a dozen or so lessons I am either beginning, relearning or trying to improve upon. Actually, I think Brian is posting as we speak. I tried checking the December Challenge post and it was not accessible.

Similar thought here Billy. I regret having barely participated in the 2019 challenges. 2020 will be different.

I think everybody is going to learn a lot , I took it really slow watching Brian this time..last time i just rushed through (was busy week kack when) but like how Brian explains how easy 327 really is,, and it’s easy to make the connection both video and following a slow tempo in the soundslice.. but I watched both intro and part 2 video instructional and it really matters much referring to the videos.. okay I’ll shut up and play lol

It’s here. You must of just posted right before Brian posted ?
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Go for it Billy. I did last year and stuck with it. First time I ever did that here on the forum.
