That is cool.. I remember trying to do older Franky stuff..this is a reminder how and why many should consider some Frank 😉.. really cool AndreM.. do more Franky I’ll be here to listen..not sure others know Frank style but I do.. it’s in my memory and I know these days I can but backlogged for now with the Clapton stuff here.. I have done both this morning 302 303 whatever the unplugged ones.. pretty much got them about as right with tab..but man I don’t know about posting them earlier than suggested lol

Andre, great that you jammed on a Zappa tune. I love Frank Zappa, R.I.P. for me one of the best musicians ever! Black Napkins is one of my favourite Zappa pieces. Zoot Allures, if I remember right.
Great playing there from you and a good sounding guitar. Well done!Eric

great tone, Andre; this is one of favorite Frank solos; somewhere there’s a wonderful version he played live on a TV interview show.
again, great tone. You honoured a great musician here.
ps, did you find TAB somewhere? if so, can you share. -

for those who haven’t heard Frank Zappa killing it on guitar: for me this is a masterclass, especially in bending, trills, all the expressive techniques. I always considered this a masterpiece of inspired improv over what’s basically a 2-chord vamp
Andre did him justice, and certainly captured his tone; well done Andre.

Hi gang,
Oh man i wish i heard this piece before doing mine.
I didn’t know really what to do what kind of feel to give it.
Only reference i had is the tab on Ultimate Guitar.com and believe it is not playable, don’t know if Frank was in a bad mood but it was far from melodic. This one you just posted is closer to what I did i think, I hope.
Also the other reference what a high school of music with Dweezil as a guest, was very good but not
like Frank, got this on U-Tube. The challenge here is the 2 chords, I was wondering if i could make it interesting long enough.Guys thx for all your comments.
