I hate the sound of myself singing.
But people keep telling me it isn’t as bad as I keep telling myself.Recorded myself while I played the guitar.

Johan,
Your singing is way better than ‘not bad’. That was fantastic man. Would love to hear you do more covers like this. -

Hey man, if had a voice like that I’d be out of work! I’m employed to sing in bars at closing time so proprietors can get an early night!! Get it out there, you can carry a tune!!

I like it Johan. Vocals are good. With your finger style guitar skills work in a solo between the verses. Keep singing!

Your voice works well with that song and you stayed on tune all the way through. I wouldn’t worry about your singing. Most of us don’t like the sound of our singing for some reason. If you are performing, confidence is more important than anything else. If you are worried about your voice on a recording, you can always go back and re-record a less than perfect section. You can also get tone correction software pretty inexpensively that will get your voice on to the correct note if you tend to be a little sharp or flat, but that doesn’t seem to be your problem. Be proud of your voice and sing with the conviction that it sounds good.

Thanks man! It’s only about the first part. I don’t know if my own judgment is up to the task of discerning between utter rubbish and something that has bacon in it.
As long as I don’t get called out as being the Justin Bieber of cobra chickens.. I might survive having posted this!
Thanks man.- "Pretty Fingers Parker"

That was great Johan! You have a real gift my man. The video was cool too with the Amish dancing to your music. I can’t sing but last night, in a dream, I found a broken up guitar neck with missing parts of the fingerboard. Since it was just the neck there was no bridge but the strings were in tune and had a eerie blue glow coming out where they ended. So there I was singing to made up lyrics with a nice chord progression and people joined in. Finally had a good night’s sleep! You can do this while awake. Go for it bro!

Good vocals, went well with the song. Keep it going, try others styles too and see where it takes you. Most of all have fun doing it.

Pull the other one, you’ve got a great voice. Great choice of song, arrangement and recording quality too. Very enjoyable.

Your singing was spot on, Johan. The guitar complemented your singing very well. Keep singing and posting would be my advice. The video was well chosen, too, as it fits the song quite well. Is that from an open air musical at a local theatre in Sweden? Must have been good, judging by the large crowd.
