Beautiful phrasing, Roger. I know you weren’t used to using a pick but you looked pretty comfortable there. What type of pick have you settled on?

hey John, i’m off-and-on with the pick; recently using a Dunlop Ultex .88 – comfortable to hold, medium strength. Has a soft touch but can catch some fast runs. New Years resolution includes using pick to build up speed for occasional fast runs to add interest.

ps, you did a beautiful job on EP395. Perfect tone and execution.

I don’t know this Buble’s song, but I like the harmony and your solo is awesome, soulful and perfectly played. Phrasing, bendings and vibratos are really very very good and absolutely enjoyable to listen to!

Very nicely played Mr. Moose. Your playing got better the more you played. This song is used in a tv commercial here in the U.S. so I’m very familiar with it. Nice job playing the original solo. I liked that solo so much I tried to find out who played it, but I never did find out. Great song, great playing, and very smooth and accurate phrasing.
