Ah yes, home studios. When I first joined AM some years back, none of us had a clue how to set up a home recording studio. So our virtual friend, Bryce from Alaska (Bryce.AKguitar, I think), made an excellent video on how to go about it. It is still somewhere in the archives, but I’m not sure how to access it.
BUT, one thing I found extremely interesting that happened because of the Covid pandemic: Lots of famous guitarists were forced to make video recordings from their own home studios, so it was a rare chance to see how other people set up their home studios. I saw some home studios that were more primitive than mine, and some that were quite similar, and some that were mind-bogglingly high-tech. Some of the home studio rooms were smaller than mine, and some were huge – like half the size of a basketball court. I made a Youtube playlist of all the home studio recordings I saw during the pandemic, and here are a few links.
