Guess my question should have been posted here:
Brian –
I love your website and I’m currently working through your lessons on Delta Blues finger-picking with great success and pleasure. Thank you so much for all your work and excellent teaching.
I have spent the past year or so taking classical guitar lessons, and find it most comfortable to hold the guitar using the classical player’s position – the waist of the guitar resting on the left leg (I’m right-handed) with the neck pointing up to the left, and a foot-stool under my left leg. Using the position you are suggesting seems awkward and the guitar less stable.
Just wondering if I should make the effort to change the way I hold the guitar or continue holding it the way I’ve been taught.
