Outstanding, Craig. Such great variety in your phrasing and killer tone. Was that a stat…ahh, just saw your intro, suhr classic. I’m curious how you got your tone, also.

G’day Craig, and welcome. The time you’ve spent focusing on the blues has been time well spent: that was first class, and the tone was great. Thanks for posting.

Thanks sooo much for listening and feedback! Your comments are inspiring! It is refreshing to connect with other talented musicians.
I have had a brief chance to listen to a few postings and have loved what I heard and saw!.
As to specific comments and questions from James M,CharJo, Eric C, Canada Moose, Sal in no particular order.
I am plugging my Suhr directly into a focus-rite Scarlett external sound-card into my DAW which is Sonar (Cakewalk). I am using Native Instruments Guitar Rig as a plugin for my effects AND Amp! – configured with a High White amp and Brit 12 x 12 speaker box, a stomp compressor, graphic equalizer, Tape echo machine for delay. When I play live (which I aint at the moment) I channel out through the Scarlett either to a clean channel on my amp or if I have a PA I split the backing track to it and the solo guitar to the AMpeg.
My main influences are Dave Gilmour (what a genius), Jimmy Page (what a genius), Joe Walsh (what a genius), Duke Robillard, Ellmore James, Howlin’ wolf, Albert King…..the list goes on!. Not so much Gary Moore.

Wow! That was great. I love the feel and emotion of the piece. I know you said not so much Gary Moore, but this is very close to some of his music. And he was an excellent player.
I love this recording. You are an excellent blues player. I would love to hear more.

Welcome Craig. That was beyond good. That is insanely good. I will listen to this over and over. I was thinking you were probably David Gilmore fan. Can you video yourself. Would love to see this.
