Hi all,
I was down in Glasgow this weekend and while I had some spare time I went into the GuitarGuitar store to have a look around. There was one guitar in particular they had on offer that caught my eye. I’ve always thought what would be a guitar that is really unique and fits my personality. Well I think I found the answer…
The Fender Custom Shop Telecaster HS Paisley. The guy asked if I wanted a blast on it and I sheepishly said yes just unplugged to get a feel for it. The neck is the best feeling I’ve ever played along with the slightly fatter neck. The medium jumbo frets felt so easy to play instantly.
– It’s a love or hate thing for most people but I love a but of paisley!
– Red is my favourite colour and my favourite colour pickguard has to be mint green!
– Again love or hate relic but the custom shop have done an excellent job rellicing this guitar. It felt it had been played and worn in over the last 50 years
– I like both single coil and humbuckers so it’s ideal to have both on one guitar!
– Vintage 60s look and spec! The only bug bear was the nut which was pretty badly cut. It was extremely noisy when bending which is annoying when the price tag was £3,100 (down from £3,600, bargain?).
I thought I would share this as I’ve googled around for paisley guitars before and never liked anything they’ve done previously. This was an exception!
All the best,
Jordan
