Had a lot of fun with this one friends just tried to play some melodic notes and chord tones and keep it simple, sometimes i over think these things,my guitar could have been a bit louder but I didnt want to over power the beautiful piano playing, hope y’all enjoy!

Hi Wayne, nice melodic lead here. Hitting those chord tones really makes it sing. I agree, getting the mix right is tricky. Everything loud enough to be heard, but one not overpowering the other.

Great these quick slides at the beginning. Nice embellishments. I like how you tastefully played some simple notes on top of that beautiful track.
Sweet tone on your guitar.

I liked the simplicity of your lead, it sounded lovely over the track. I agree it was important not to overwhem the beauty of the piano and strings.

Nicely played Wayne. It’s important to be aware of where you fit in as a guitar player and to serve the song. Well done!

I agree that you wouldn’t want to cloud that beautiful backing track. You still managed to deliver a sensitive and well-crafted complement to Brian’s music. The little bend was a great way to accommodate that need for a half-step change as the chords moved along.
You demonstrated a good feel for the spirit of the music as well as the individual

The simple approach was a good one. Complimented the beautiful piano without trying to dominate it. Subtle and melodic.

Nice arrangement, Wayne. Like you, I wondered how loud my guitar should be relative to the backing track. There are pros and cons to loud vs soft. You chose soft, I chose soft.

Yes, keep it simple. Its the quality of the notes, not the qty. Very nice job!
