Hi Bryce, cool idea with the video. All the elements were there and well played. I find your guitar really cool.
Well done over all!Wilfried
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Very kind of your twin brother to play along and so fine you are both great pickers!
Great performances they are! The rhythm part was solid as a rock and the lead had exact the right tone. Like I said before: nothing can beat a Tele, certainly not in the skillful hands of the two of you.
Regards,
Patrick

Bryce, it always seems more frantic and rushed when I play it. I think that’s a testament to your skill. Yay, Woody.

Well done Bryce.I found this one to be especially challenging mostly for the speed and that I haven’t played country before. Must admit, it is a lot of fun to play and that’s what it is all about.
ThanksRichard

Very nice. So you bought the Tele just so you could blow away this challenge? Keep in mind, there are 10 more to go. You are gonna have a nice selection of guitars by the end of the year.
Playing was clean, crisp and precise, and you seemed entirely in your comfort zone. The edits in the first verse were kinda weird, but then it fell together when you went to split screen. I was kinda hoping after that, that you would go to four Bryce’s, maybe with a Bass and additional lead part over the two, and then we could go on exponentially. But yeah, the video was cool, and the playing was great.

Bryce,
Loved the video editing, I thought I was seeing double and I was…! Your playing was super good with Woody sounding just awesome. You looked cool as a cucumber playing country. Great.

Bryce — I’ve been here about a year (I think) and have watched your steady improvement. I think this was by far your best. You always play clean, but your feel for the rhythm really came through on this one. Oh, and the Tele has that perfect country twang. Are you gonna buy a new axe every time the monthly challenge switches genres? Oh wait, you pick the monthly challenge songs — this could get expensive!

Sweet playing on this one, Bryce! Just like the others said.
And thanks for picking this lesson. I didn’t think I was up to it, but it turned out to be one of my favorites for learning and hopefully advancing.Larry

Hey Bryce, nicely played. Great video too. Your Hybrid picking is very very good. I didn’t use it on mine because I’m not that comfortable with it, but now i wish I spent some more time working on it because yours sounded great!

Well played Bryce, cool, confident and laid back. I loved the whole thing.
These videos are getting more and more sophisticated though … I blame Lights! @lights
Enjoy your new guitar, I’ve had one for a couple of years now and love it.

Bryce-sensei,
Nice work. Echoing others, your hybrid picking is spot on. I’m inspired now to make hybrid picking a focus for 2017.

Impeccable playing there, Bryce! Great job on the video effects also, it really added interest. Do I see a two-camera video coming in the future? I thought of borrowing my wife’s iPhone and trying that sometime.

Great posting Bryce,
I enjoyed seeing both parts played side by side, that guitar really nailed the country tone.
What about some improv though?? 😉

From the sound of it, you haven’t been playing too long, but that sounded really good. Your timing was right and your bends sounded great. Nice country twang, too. That’s gonna be my next guitar.
