    Hi members
Here’s our common project on Brian’s beautiful duet lesson. It was fun, we both enjoyed it.
JoLa, thank you for your awsome cooperation and for doing the video editing.
    Denise

PS: Due to the time difference between Las Vegas and Switzerland, the lead is a bit ahead of the rhythm, lol.

Impressive. I assume you recorded JoLa’s rhythm then Denise tracked the lead while listening to JoLa’s part, then JoLa mixed it ??? Or did you do this in real time together? Real nice job all around. JoLa, I’m working on that right hand percussion but for me it’s like chewing gum and walking – going to need some work. Does Brain have any videos addressing right hand percussion? Keep up the good work.

He sure does! My all time favorite is EP187 but you also have EP283, EP332, EP372, and the one we did with Denise here, EP353. The percussive technique seems so hard at first but then once you get it, it becomes automatic, like riding a bicycle! Brian explains the technique in EP353 pretty well.

Absolutely fantastic JoLa and Denise. This is what it’s ultimately about, playing music together. You’ve both chosen a beautiful lesson for your first of hopefully many more duets to come. I hope this inspires others to collaborate together (Craig and Andre, the Yinzer Crew etc). Great playing. All the best!

Excellent job in all respects. I wonder if it would be possible for you to trade off so that Jola plays the rhythm for a while, then Denise plays the rhythm for a while. In other words, so each of you could have a turn at the solo part.

JoLa & Denise! Denise & JoLa! I so agree with John: The 3rd Rock from da sun needs way more of this musical togetherness! Yinz rocked it!!! I love Denise’s comment about how she was “slightly ahead” on some parts because of your 9 hour time difference! LOL!! I didn’t notice it. Beautiful arrangement you two! We all here at AM need to take your lead and do more of this – especially in this COVID WORLD! JoLa, your rhythm was ROCK SOLID! That percussive playing is so solid! And on one of your 35 favorite gitfiddles, right??? Very impressive playing for sure! Denise, your playing – especially lead – has progressed tremendously since May! Your bends and slides have come such a long way! And James is right – that gitfiddle is beautiful!! Can we please see more of da J & D Team????
      Happy Thanksgiving! Bobby Ut
P.S. Like Steve said, would love to see Yinz “trade twos or fours”. Take turns on rhythm and lead.
Again, this is wonderful to see AM peeps team together and make incredible music!!!

Very well performed and produced! I got an quick appreciation for how difficult the process was when I decided to do double guitars for the November challenge. If you ever need a drum track for a ‘metronome’ let me know. I started playing drums over 50 years ago.

Collaborations are great fun, you both handled it well.
Didnt notice any speed difference due to time differences, then again maybe the time difference to Scotland from each of you has pulled it together.
